Auditorium del parco
The idea came from Claudio Abbado and was conceived in order to give L'Aquila a space to perform and listen to music while waiting for the restoration of the Forte Spagnolo hall. The building is built entirely of wood and it's temporary. The Auditorium del Parco is made up of three wooden volumes, in the shape of cubes of diffrent sizes, set side by side and liked togheter. The larger central volume contains a hall with 238 seats and a stage for and orchestra of 40 musicians.
